Miracles Asia Boutique Programme (Signature).

 Miracles Asia provides the region’s most discreet treatment for addictions, mental health issues and specializing in dual diagnosis and  co-occurring disorders. We focus on customised recovery for our guests through delivering quality, one-on-one attention and care.

Our private comfortable villa is staffed with experienced hospitality staff and our qualified medical and therapeutic teams have extensive experience in residential treatment delivery.

All the owners and senior councillors are in recovery themselves and are licensed professionals. We believe that these addiction and behavioural health issues require an in-depth and sophisticated approach that treats the physical, mental, social and spiritual elements of each person, rather than just the presenting problem. We are looking for the root causes of your disorder.

Our highly skilled staff at Miracles Asia understand that each guest is unique and responds differently to various types of therapy, which is why we offer multiple recovery programmes that are delivered through a wide range of treatment modalities. This varied and dynamic approach to treatment ensures we are prepared to offer the level and type of treatment that each resident needs to achieve his or her goals, not only in the residential phase of treatment, but also after he or she has successfully completed treatment at Miracles Asia.

This approach vastly increases the chance of sustained recovery and good quality of life. All clients undergo comprehensive assessment, not just of the presenting issue, but of possible underlying issues.

Treatment Models

At Miracles Asia we recognise that each client has their own unique needs and goals.  Because no one therapeutic model has been proven to meet the needs of all substance abuser s, we believe that by offering a selection of appropriate, recognised therapy styles the client can identify and embrace the skills that most appeal to them.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

A major component of CBT is that thoughts, feelings and behaviours are connected in a way that one influences and is influenced by the others. For example, feelings are impacted by your thoughts and behaviours, and your feelings impact your thoughts and behaviours. This notion gives some level of power to the client to improve the unwanted facet by addressing the other two.  Because substance abuser behaviour patterns start long before the consumption, normally in an early thinking stage, CBT is appealing to many clients.

Client Centered Therapy

Person-centered therapy moves away from the traditional model of the therapist being the expert. Rather, in person-centered therapy, the client is regarded as the expert, and it is the therapist who listens to the client and is “there to encourage and support the client and to guide the therapeutic process without interrupting or interfering with the client’s process of self-discovery.  Because substance abuser ion has internal origins, some believe the solution needs to originate internally as well. People looking to boost their self-esteem, increase their self-awareness and self-reliance, and gain more clarity as they focus on their life’s goals can benefit from person-centered therapy. This  approach has been used for people across groups, including those who are dealing with substance use disorders and mental health disorders.

12-step Therapy

Twelve-step based therapy is an active engagement strategy designed to increase the likelihood of a substance abuser becoming affiliated with and actively involved in 12-step self-help groups, thereby promoting abstinence.

Three key ideas predominate:

  • acceptance, which includes the realization that drug substance abuser ion is a chronic, progressive disease over which one has no control, that life has become unmanageable because of drugs, that willpower alone is insufficient to overcome the problem, and that abstinence is the only alternative;
  • surrender, which involves giving oneself over to a higher power, accepting the fellowship and support structure of other recovering substance abuser individuals, and following the recovery activities laid out by the 12-step program; and
  • active involvement in 12-step meetings and related activities. The 12-step approach to addiction treatment is the longest recognized and debatably the most effective model across different levels of treatment.
